Each Stonete is organic in nature — handcrafted from your baby’s unique touch. Because every impression is different, slight variations in shape, size, and finish are part of what make each piece truly one of a kind.

Your final jewel will reflect the impression you take, so please read the instructions carefully and reach out if you have any questions before sending your waxes. We can gently refine and smooth small imperfections, but the character of your print will remain as you created it — that’s the beauty of its authenticity.

If the impressions are not taken correctly or cannot be used, we can send you a replacement kit for a small handling fee.

Due to fluctuating metal prices, you have two months from the date of purchase to complete and return your wax impressions. Returns received after this period may incur an additional fee.

A note on age: Babies are born with the beginnings of their fingerprints, but these lines are so soft and undefined during the first year that they can’t be clearly captured. That’s why, at Stonetes, we don’t seek a perfect fingerprint — we capture the touch.
Your kit includes a gentle method designed especially for newborns and infants, helping you preserve the delicate folds and textures of their skin — the feeling of closeness itself.

Once your waxes are received, your Stonete becomes fully personalised and cannot be cancelled or refunded.
